Cycling

Within the Wealden District there are two off road trails that are suitable for the whole family-the Cuckoo Trail (pdf 413kb) and Forest Way (external link). They follow dis-used railway lines and are accessible for walkers, cyclists and horseriders.

These routes form part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network (external link) Route 21 which links London to Eastbourne. Also in East Sussex is the South Coast Cycle Route NCN 2.

For more experienced cyclists there is a series of routes Off the Cuckoo Trail (pdf 910kb) which are mainly along roads and quiet lanes.
