Arts in Wealden

The arts in Wealden include a vibrant mix of community arts, festivals, exhibitions, public art, professional touring companies and individual artists and crafts people amidst the rural landscape.

There are opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to take part in music, dance, visual art and crafts and many more art forms across the district.

Activities take place in venues and spaces such as The Hailsham Pavilion (external link), Heathfield Community College (external link) and Willingdon Community School (external link)- which now both have Specialist Arts School Status. Look out for events at local village halls, pubs, schools and tourism attractions such as The Cuckoo Trail and Michelham Priory.
