Dangerous Structures - Building Control
One of the functions of the Building Control Service is to ensure that public safety is maintained in relation to harm which could happen from buildings or structures.
Therefore if you are aware of any buildings or structures which you believe might cause serious injury to your neighbours or general members of the public, you should report to it to Building Control.

The type of matter we may be able to deal with are, for example:-
Loose tiles
Loose brickwork
Storm damage
Fire damage
Dilapidated walls/structures
Unsecured buildings/sites where there are dangerous elements of structure
The service provides an advisory role and works with the police and fire service when dealing with major or serious incidents involving buildings and structures as well.
