What can a grant provide?

- Compact fluorescent bulbs (CFB's)

Warm Front
If you own your own home and meet the criteria below you may be entitled to a grant of up to £2700 to make your home warmer and reduce your fuel bills.
Criteria
- If you are over 60, or you have a child under the age of 16, and receive an income-related benefit (e.g. council tax, housing benefit, pension credit, income support or income-based jobseeker's Alowance or if you receive child tax credits bassed on an annual income of less thatn £15,050)
- If you receive a disability benefit you may also qualify for a grant.
Discount Insulation Schemes
Part payment grants (subsidised by the energy companies) to help with the costs of installing cavity wall and loft insulation are available to ALL irrespective of income. The level of grant is based on the porperty and heating type and the levels of existing insulation (loft). Grant levels may fluctuate depending on current available funding. Staywarm
Exclusively designed for the over-60s, Powergen Staywarm offers you complete peace of mind. Once you’ve joined, how ever much gas and electricity you need, you pay a fixed price. You can choose to pay by Direct Debit or by cash/ cheque at the Post Office.
The amount you pay is based on the number of people who live in your home and the number of bedrooms it has. We guarantee that as long as you remain with Powergen Staywarm, the price you pay will be fixed for 12 months from when you sign up.
