Reporting a racist incident
A racist incident is any incident that is felt to be racist, whether by the victim or anyone else. You can use the Racist Incident Reporting Form to report a racist incident if you:
- have been the victim of a racist incident
- know anyone who has been the victim of a racist incident
- have been witness to a racist incident.

What happens next?
When Sompriti receive your completed form, the details will be passed on to a caseworker to follow up. They will:
Log the case
- if required, develop an action plan to resolve the complaint
- support the victim throughout the process
- ensure that the outcome of the case is both agreeable to the victim and realistic
All complaints will be handled in confidence. Information will only be passed on to other organisations with the victim's permission.
