Wealden District Council's satisfaction ratings

Every three years Councils across the England seek the views of their residents and service users.

Wealden surveyed 1,057 Wealden households in 2006/07. 58% of people who responded said that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the way that this Council runs things. Wealden's percentage was the highest of all East Sussex Councils. The satisfaction level was 62% in 2003/04. A report on the General Satisfaction Survey PDF logo can be viewed or downloaded.

86% of the customers participating in a survey of our benefits service PDF logo in 2006/07 were satisfied or very satisfied with the service they received - an increase of 2% from 2003/04.

A survey of satisfaction with our housing service showed that 86% of our housing tenants were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall service provided by Wealden District Council as their landlord. The level of satisfaction was up from 84% in 2003/04.

63% of people surveyed making planning applications in 2006/07 were satisfied or very satisfied with the service they received - a decline from 70% in 2003/04. The report of the survey can be viewed or downloaded PDF logo.
