Community Engagement in Wealden

Through community engagement activities, Wealden District Council will enable people to put forward ideas, options and opinions to help shape decisions about local service priorities and improvements.

We list current consultations on our main webpage under ‘have your say’. Our website also highlights our partners' and other organisations' consultations and details the latest research and consultation results.

We also use a variety of other relevant means to make residents aware of the engagement activities we are undertaking.

In 1995, we set up a Wealden People’s Panel. Wealden residents on the Panel can be asked to be involved through surveys, questionnaires, focus groups and discussion meetings. A new Wealden Panel is being recruited in November and December 2008.
